We are Samyukth.
Samyukth is a collective of musicians creating original live music for professional events and shared experiences.
Rooted in Indian musical traditions and shaped by contemporary instrumentation, we bring together distinct musical voices to create performances designed for the moment, the audience and the occasion.
Music Should
Belong to the Moment
We believe live music should do more than accompany an event. It should reflect why people have gathered, respond to the character of the occasion and become part of what they remember.
That is why original music sits at the heart of Samyukth.
Original at Heart
We compose rather than recreate. Original music gives every Samyukth experience its own identity.
Shaped by the Moment
The audience, purpose and atmosphere influence how our music is conceived and presented.
Rooted, Yet Open
Carnatic rhythm and Indian melodic traditions form our foundation, while Western harmonies and contemporary influences expand our musical language.
One Collective Voice
Different instruments, traditions and musical perspectives come together to create one coherent Samyukth sound.
From Rhythm
to Resonance
The Beginning
Samyukth began in 2005 under the direction of mridangam exponent and composer Sai Shiv. Our early explorations blended Carnatic rhythmic structures, Indian melodic traditions and Western harmonic thinking.
A Defining Shift
In 2020, violinist-composer Keshav Mohankumar and ghatam artist Shamith S Gowda joined the collective. Their artistic voices and ideas expanded our compositional range—bridging traditional roots with modern expression.
One Collective, Many Voices
From that core, Samyukth grew into the seven-member ensemble it is today—bringing together diverse instruments, cultures and perspectives with a single purpose: to create one immersive Samyukth experience for every audience.
Different journeys. One purpose.
Original music that moves people and stays with them.
